For the Birmingham Botanical Gardens we were faced with the challenge of designing and installing an educational interactive visitors’ centre, for children titled ‘The Green Man’, within the interior of a listed Victorian cottage, situated in the grounds of the botanical gardens

Working carefully in sympathy with the original existing interior, we created a unique experience for school visits. Using full height graphic surround backgrounds, graphic floor surfaces and ceiling features, we formed the interior of a tree - as an introduction corridor, with a forest glade complete with forest canopy - as an interactive workshop

This was all realised with new technology, to aid school children and their teachers. Incorporating six modules as tree sections, housing seating and touch screen monitors, together with plasma screen displays, DVD players, pc’s, printers and an audio system throughout
